Your new role
As a key player in the collections team, you will assist with collections, support the cash application process, address customer queries, and contribute to data reporting on aged debt. Your proactive and reactive efforts in cash collection will be crucial. You’ll interface with sales, billing, and account managers to resolve discrepancies and ensure financial targets are met. Training and guidance will be provided to help you excel in this role.
What you’ll need to succeed
Education: Bachelor’s degree ideally in Accountancy and Finance or a related field.
Experience: 2–3 years of hands-on commercial collections experience (accounts receivable or related) preferably in an international setting. Some cash application experience is a plus.
Skills: Detail-oriented, professional, reliable, with excellent communication skills. Strong customer relations skills and a positive attitude are essential. Organisational and time management skills to meet processing deadlines.
Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with key systems like Oracle and Salesforce, and proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel).
