Our client is currently looking for an Engineering Contracts Managers who will oversee all projects from the start through to completion, must ensure that work is completed on time and within its budget. Will be expected to be working on a wide variety of projects mainly in the rail. An Engineering back ground is essential. Must have a work track record of prjects carried out int he UK.
Must understand contracts, will also get involved in negotiating sub-contract orders and monitoring sub-contractors, planning critical dates, or organising labour. Will also be responsible for agreeing extra work to be done on a contract, helping to resolve any disputes which come up, and identifying areas for improvement in your company’s contracting processes. Access to a company car will be given,
Your place of work will be split between the office and being on site, will also have to make regular client visits.
The Contracts managers needs to be well-organised and capable of meeting deadlines. Good maths and IT skills will also help.
