They are looking for an Accounts Assistant who will support the Accounts team with the efficient and effective processing of all aspects of the Sales
Ledger. The ideal candidate will need sufficient sales ledger experience.

Job Description

Completing daily sales invoice runs, invoice financing uploading, posting daily cash receipts.
Sending out Monthly Statements, Bank Reconciliation, credit notes and refunds.
Maintain the cash account – proforma invoices and cash receipts to be matched off daily. Old Proforma invoices to be deleted
Monitoring customer accounts to ensure they are on/off hold as required
Preparing Overdue Debtors listing and chasing the customers for payment
Preparing monthly insurance declaration & CIS deductions
Weekly cash transfers of money paid into wrong account
Monitor and maintain Sales Ledger email inbox and ensure prompt response to all emails.
Setting up new customer accounts and completing credit checks & supporting audits. 
Accounts Assistant
Essential Experience/Skills/Qualifications

Previous Sales Ledger experience is required, ideally gained within an SME
A proficient user of MS Office, with intermediate Excel skills being particularly relevant
Knowledge of Sage 200 would be advantageous.
