Barwon Water
We’re looking for someone who is passionate about the delivery of outstanding services for our customers and community.
At Barwon Water, we believe that every individual has something valuable to offer. We understand that a more diverse workforce brings a wider variety of ideas to the table. Enjoy being part of an organisation that values results, personal and professional growth, workplace diversity, and a balance between work and life commitments.
Our Strategy 2030 vision is to enable regional prosperity. As part of the senior leadership team, you’re a highly regarded leader and you’ll shape the delivery of water, recycled water, and wastewater services while fostering a safe and high-performing culture.
You will align strategies, plans, and policies across the organisation to accelerate delivery by creating a clear line of sight between the daily work and the organisation’s strategic goals.
In this key role, you’ll lead our Networks department, including spatial information services, to manage the delivery of high-quality services and the development and implementation of a strategic program to improve performance and efficiency.
We pride ourselves on exceeding customer expectations with our teams that deliver essential services around the clock across our region.
You’re a highly regarded professional with operational leadership and strategic experience. You’ll build effective internal and external relationships while influencing the broader business. You’re familiar with working in network distribution operations across similar industry sectors.
With a bachelor’s degree or higher in engineering or similar, you’re also experienced in managing internal budgets. You’re someone with excellent business and financial skills, demonstrating an understanding of how to align business and community needs with environmental, sustainability, and financial goals.
Not only are you an experienced leader, but you’re also skilled in leading multi-disciplined work groups, adept at managing multiple projects, and providing clear direction to others under pressure.
We’re flexible and know the importance of work/life balance. If you’re a parent or caregiver, studying, or have other needs, we can support you with flexible work hours and leave options.
We have set ourselves inspirational goals towards achieving regional prosperity and we are delivering on them.
Our work requires more than just technical solutions. We’re learning from the tens of thousands of years of knowledge and insight from Traditional Custodians. Barwon Water acknowledges the spiritual, social, and cultural connection that our Traditional Owners have with their Country and waterways.
