GPS Recruitment have a new role with a valued client, who are market leaders in the digital communication sector. We are wanting to chat with people ideally based around the Nottingham/Derby areas- this is to be well placed between the 2 sites.
As Facilities Maintenance Engineer, you will have had previous experience in the commercial/mechanical sector, carrying out all areas of planned and reactive maintenance. Being a qualified Electrician is a must for the role.
Key responsibilities:
* Electrical/mechanical PPMs and reactive maintenance.
* Complete all relevant paperwork and CAFM documentation for PPM, reactive, and breakdown works, ensuring timely submission to the contract administrator.
* Prepare and utilise Method Statements and Risk Assessments for all tasks to ensure safe working practices.
* Cultivate positive relationships with staff, subcontractors, and client representatives.
* Ensure a Safe and Healthy working environment, including adherence to uniform and Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) requirements.
* Keep up-to-date plant logs at all times.
* Supervise and monitor subcontractors’ maintenance activities on site.
* Adhere to contractual Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
* Maintain the CAFM system, ensuring accurate closure of PPM and reactive tickets with captured data.
* Operate a Permit to Work System in line with Technical and Safety, Health, Environment, and Quality (SHEQ) processes, or client-specific requirements.
* Undertake any other reactive tasks directed by the Facilities management team.
* Provide engineering support in emergency situations to ensure business and operational continuity.
Key experience/qualifications:
* 18th Edition
* NVQ/City and Guilds
* Full UK driving licence
* Experience working within a Facilities Management environment on PPM’s
**A driving licence is essential as a company vehicle will be provided
