The School
You will be working in a Bradford Primary School as an Early Years Teacher. This Bradford Primary School is looking for a highly motivated and professional Early Years Teacher for vacancy cover, starting in September.
Role

The main responsibilities are to:
Motivate and stimulate a child’s learning abilities, often encouraging learning through experience.
Provide pastoral care and support to children within a secure learning environment.
Assist with the development of a child’s personal, social, language and physical coordination abilities.
Develop and produce visual aids and teaching resources.
Encourage mathematical and creative development through stories, songs, games, drawing and imaginative play.
Help children develop curiosity and knowledge.
Work with others, including teaching assistants and nursery nurses as well as volunteer helpers, to plan and coordinate work both indoors and outdoors.
Share knowledge gained with other practitioners and build and maintain relationships with parents.
Observe, assess and record each child’s progress.
The school are happy to consider ECTs and experienced teachers. You will have whole class teaching responsibilities and will need to be confident in planning, preparing and assessing pupils’ work as well as able to work as part of the teaching team.
This school received a GOOD in their last OFSTED inspection.
What you’ll need to succeed
To be considered for this Early Years Teacher job in Bradford, you must have:
Recent experience of teaching Early Years pupils (and be able to provide references).
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or be a Newly Qualified Teacher (NQT) / Early Career Teacher (ECT).
Sound knowledge of English and Maths.
Clear understanding of safeguarding.
