Junior solicitor (NQ-3) required at popular regional Yorkshire firm. Competitive salary & hybrid/remote work.
This role is with a well regarded and highly respected regional Yorkshire law firm with a solid base in West Yorkshire. Having been a staple of the Yorkshire legal market for many years, this firm continues to be regarding as an employer of choice across the junior legal market. The vacancy on offer will involve providing legal advice and support to clients on a range of charity and education law issues and transactions under the guidance of partners and senior lawyers.
Lawyers who have between 1-3 years’ experience of working within charity &/or education law would be the most desired candidates for this role. However, any candidates with less experience that this and who are the newly qualified level will also be considered depending on the level of experience they have gained.
More specifically, the successful candidate can be expected to perform tasks including the following (the below is not an exhaustive list of duties):
Supporting charity and education clients on including transactional, governance and contractual matters;
Producing seminar / presentation materials and identifying / pursuing further opportunities for training activities amongst clients;
Undertaking precedents / evidence / points of law research;
Advising and assisting with the formation and incorporation of charities and mergers/collaborations/joint ventures involving charities; and
Communicating with the Charity Commission and other regulators.
