Reporting to the Saskatoon Business Centre Manager, the Account Manager sells products, processes customer orders, provides pricing and/or technical information, and finds solutions to customer problems in a timely manner.

This role will involve a hybrid arrangement, combining both in-office and external client-facing responsibilities.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

1- Consistently exceed existing customer expectations when processing quotations, orders, reports, RMAs and answering technical questions while offering value added solutions to each customer exchange in order to meet sales objectives (Sales $, GP $ & Margin);

2 – Proactively research and develop new business opportunities and market Noramco products and services to new potential clients;

3 – Conduct market research of products and pricing for the purpose of promoting new products;

4 – Work cooperatively with teammates in the administration of sales transactions;

DUTIES

Answers calls promptly, and professionally, listens attentively to the customers, understands and fulfills their needs;
Responds to the customer’s inquiries in a timely manner;
On some occasions, negotiates special prices and conditions with customers and/or vendors as per criteria established by his Manager;
Takes necessary action to resolve customer service issues in a timely manner and follows-up and verifies commitments are met afterwards;
Proactively suggests associated and/or alternate products as needed;
Promotes focus product items to generate incremental sales;
Quickly informs the appropriate person (Business Centre Manager, Outside Sales Representative) of customer feedback with regards to price, products, service, etc.;
Maintains their technical knowledge up-to-date on various product lines and broaden system knowledge.

REQUIREMENTS:

Minimum three (3) to five (5) years of industry experience preferable, or a combination of relevant professional training and experience;
Good English communication skills written and spoken
Demonstrated people skills;
Excellent communication and organizational skills;
Product knowledge;
Must be customer service driven;
Good knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).

Pay: $45,000.00-$60,000.00 per year
