Account Technician – up to £50k – hybrid

They specialise in creating solutions to challenging risk transfer questions for clients, broker partners and insurer partners in the UK and internationally. Due to expansion within the North American team, a position for an Account Technician has arisen.
Your new role
Your new role working as a Technician means you will be in a newly created role in a fast-paced, high-energy team predominantly focusing on Financial Lines and Casualty businesses internationally. This role will work closely with the Broker Technician and Brokers internally, to predominantly support North American clients. Duties will include assisting with technical duties in both front-end and back-end processes, including invoicing, closing advice, third-party credit notes, and LPANs and preparing MRC slips and endorsements for financial lines and casualty business (both open market and reinsurance). Further duties will also include coordinating with team members, underwriters, and producers, uploading MRC slips to PPL for underwriter sign-off, managing the filing of formal policy documentation and providing support with ad-hoc tasks as required by team members.
What you’ll need to succeed
Your previous experience working as a technician handling North American clients will contribute to your success in securing this role. You will have a background in the insurance industry and are dedicated to providing outstanding client service. Ideally, you will have experience with PPL and knowledge of specific classes of business or territories is advantageous. You will be a confident communicator both in writing and verbally, capable of building strong relationships with colleagues and clients with the ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic team environment.
