APC Building Surveyor

An established firm of Independent Chartered Surveyors are seeking an APC Building Surveyor to strengthen their team. The role will involve a mix of professional and project-based building surveying work on all types of residential property, and some commercial.

Role & Responsibilities of the APC Building Surveyor:

* Assisting the Building Surveyors with inspections and writing reports.

* Assisting and preparing specifications for and administering repair and refurbishment contracts

* Assisting and preparing and Assessing License to Alter applications

* Assisting and preparing planned preventative maintenance plans

* Assisting and undertaking building reinstatement cost assessments

* Assisting and undertaking defect inspection.

* Assisting and compiling CDM information.

* Assisting with co-ordination instructions and undertaking other duties from time to time, including fee quoting.

* Undertaking Party Wall Surveying duties.

* Undertaking Condition Schedules.

Skills & Experience of the APC Building Surveyor:

* Degree in Building Surveying

* Driving licence

* Ability to work within a team and on own initiative

* Must be enthusiastic, proactive and self-motivated

* Must have strong verbal and numerical skills and be comfortable with report writing

Salary & Benefits

* Annual Salary £30,000 to £45,000 Subject to Experience.
