The Company
My client are an established and recognised business within the utilities sector. As an owner of assets and distributor of electricity, they are an essential services provider and key in maintaining supply. They work across multiple locations nationwide and have been plying their trade in New Zealand for over 100 years.

The Role
As the Fixed Asset Assistant Accountant, you will own the fixed asset register and be responsible for the completion of all tasks related to the capitalisation, depreciation, amortisation and disposal of fixed assets/leased assets and the financial management of the fixed/leased asset register including accounting and tax. This role reports to the Group Financial Accountant, and sit within the Financial team.

About You
Ideally, you will have experience with fixed assets or the desire to get into this area of accounting. You will be process-driven and and will enjoy owning a function sole-charge, with solid support from your manager.
