Our Citi Early Career team is currently looking for a high caliber professional to join us as Assistant Vice President, Early Career Senior Recruiter – Hybrid (Internal Job Title: Recruiter Senior C12 ) based in Sydney, Australia. This role will ensure that the highest caliber candidates are attracted to Citi through appropriate on-campus marketing and effective screening of candidates. The role will manage campus recruiting and program management deliverables for a selected group of businesses in Australia. In this role, you’re expected to:

  • Plan and execute all on-campus and in-house recruitment activities including presentations, office visits, networking events, and interviews.

  • Serve as the primary resource for candidates throughout the recruiting process – marketing the Firm, answering questions, and communicating candidate status.

  • Update and monitor the online applicant tracking system and report on entry hiring statistics as requested.

  • Manage summer intern programs including onboarding, training, placements, events, performance management, and offers.

  • Partner with our global product leads to grow and evolve the Early Career strategy.

  • Collaborate with the global team for alignment and leverage their training and development framework.

  • Develop and manage relationships with business sponsors and other internal stakeholders to ensure the delivery of the global early career talent strategy.

  • Lead the development and implementation of Citi’s campus engagement strategy.

  • Assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm’s reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients, and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules, and regulations.

As a successful candidate, you’d ideally have the following skills and exposure:

  • Solid track record of campus recruiting or other relevant experience desirable.

  • Proven experience in early talent recruitment and/or development; good HR working knowledge.

  • Experience in managing multiple projects.

  • Strong business acumen and analytical ability – Proven capability to identify business trends and opportunities using data and technology.

  • Strong client focus – able to effectively build relationships and establish trust, respect, competence, and confidence.

  • Results orientation – works through defined goals, metrics, and actionable plans to achieve desired outcomes.

  • Communication – ability to articulate ideas clearly and succinctly in a variety of settings and styles.

  • Teamwork – acts as a catalyst for formulating a collaborative environment to achieve a common purpose across cross-functional teams.

  • Flexibility for travel and to work hours as needed during peak seasons and for regional/global stakeholder calls and meetings.
