Job description
We are seeking a Nursery Practitioner in Early Years to join our team as Bank/Temporary staff.
You’ll be working hard to care for, support, share a story or two, and have fun to meet the needs of our children. You will be required to be flexible to cover shifts at short notice.
Responsibilities:
* Promote high-quality standards within the nursery regarding the environment, resources, and experiences offered to children.
* Assume key carer responsibilities for designated children.
* Ensure that all children attending the nursery receive rich and stimulating experiences appropriate to their age and stage of development.
* Prepare and support children’s activities
* In the absence of the Team/Room Leader, maintain effective day-to-day management of the environment.
* Contribute to ensuring that practice and provision in the nursery meet the Early Years Foundation Stage requirements.
What we are looking for –
* Unqualified, Level 2 or 3 Diploma for Childcare (or equivalent qualification)
* Previous experience in childcare or nursery settings
* Knowledge of early childhood education principles and practices
* Flexibility to work on short notice (opportunities for full-time work!)
Contract Type: Temporary/Bank Staff (As Needed)
Pay: £11:54 – £14:00 per hour
