Job Summary CareerMakers are currently recruiting Assembly Operatives / Furniture Technician for an ever-growing business in Adlington.
Responsibilities
* Construct, install, and repair structures and fixtures made of different materials.
* Use power tools effectively and safely for cutting, shaping, and assembling materials.
* Execute painting tasks to finish surfaces as per project specifications.
* Fabricate custom woodwork according to design plans.
* Ensure all work is level, and square by using appropriate measuring tools.
* Maintain a clean and safe working environment by following health and safety regulations.
The ideal candidate will have:
* Proven experience as a Carpenter or in a similar role within the construction industry.
* Proficiency in using various power tools and hand tools related to carpentry.
* Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical tasks associated with carpentry work.
* Experience in joinery techniques is highly desirable.
* Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship.
* Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Shifts:
Mon – Fri, 7am – 3:30pm or 8am – 4:30pm
Pay rate:
£27.500 per annum
