ABOUT OUR CLIENT
Our client is a fast-growing, globally connected organisation operating in a dynamic and evolving industry. With a strong focus on innovation and strategic growth, they partner with a diverse range of stakeholders to deliver high-impact solutions that create long-term value. As they navigate a critical period of transformation, they are seeking an experienced Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to provide strategic financial leadership on a 9 to 12-month contract .
THE OPPORTUNITY
This is an exciting opportunity for a commercially astute CFO to step into a key leadership role during a pivotal phase of the organisation’s growth and evolution. Reporting directly to the CEO, the CFO will drive financial strategy, oversee corporate finance activities, and ensure strong financial governance. With a particular focus on capital management, M&A transactions, and corporate restructuring, this role will require a leader who can provide immediate impact. Experience in demergers will be highly regarded.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead the organisation’s financial strategy and oversee all corporate finance activities.
- Manage capital structuring, investment planning, and risk management.
- Oversee M&A transactions, with a strong emphasis on demergers and corporate restructuring.
- Provide financial insights and strategic guidance to the CEO and Board.
- Ensure financial governance, compliance, and regulatory reporting are maintained to the highest standards.
- Manage investor relations and external stakeholder engagement, including banking and financial institutions.
- Drive financial performance monitoring, budgeting, and forecasting.
- Lead and mentor the finance team, ensuring continuity and strong leadership throughout the contract period.
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
- CPA or CA qualification required; MBA highly regarded.
- Minimum 10+ years of CFO experience in a complex, high-growth organisation.
- Strong corporate finance expertise, including M&A, demergers, capital structuring, and risk management.
- Demonstrated experience leading financial strategy in a fast-paced environment.
- Proven ability to influence executive decision-making and engage with key stakeholders.
- Deep understanding of financial governance, compliance, and reporting obligations.
- Experience managing investor relations and external financial partnerships.
- Strong leadership skills with a track record of developing high-performing teams.
