JOB DESCRIPTION:
Release management services facilitate planning, designing, scheduling, testing, and packaging contents of a Software release across all the components of the Converged Core Solution.

(a) Coordinate with Cisco and the customer’s stakeholders to create and maintain a release Plan of Record.
(b) Manage and track release schedules across all Services per the Plan of Record.
(c) Measure and monitor progress to achieve a timely Software release.
(d) Conduct release readiness reviews with the customer.
(e) Develop a Release Package for each Major and Minor Release, as per the Plan of Record and the Architecture Governance document that may include a combination of the following artifacts (as applicable):

(i) HLD
(ii) LLD
(iii) Generic MOP
(iv) Configuration template.
(v) TOL
(vi) Upgrade procedures, utilizing the customer’s developed automation packages.
(vii) Test results
(viii) Cisco standard software release notes
(ix) Cisco standard feature documentation.
(f) Provide links to Cisco Software Repository for Major and Minor s Release for the customer to download.

(g) Schedule Release Package content review meeting for presentation of the Release Package with the customer’s stakeholders.

(h) Perform post release retrospective for each Release Package.

CANDIDATE PROFILE:

Should have skills:
• Experienced Mobility professionals with understanding of Mobility CORE and EPC
• Understand SW life cycle, specifically 5G Core Software, SMF/UPF/PCF
• Experience with agile tools to track and deliver value to customers.
• Experience performing post release retrospective for each Release Package.

Good to have skills:
• Have hands on experience working on projects, troubleshooting.
• Can work across cross-functional teams, manage customer expectations.
• Have flexibility across different teams and drive value.
• Have experience working in large project / programs and manage complexity and lead through ambiguity.
