Park Paving Ltd. has been locally owned and operated for almost 50 years as one of the largest road construction contractors in Edmonton and the surrounding area. We are currently looking to hire an experienced Class 1 Equipment Hauler to join our Transportation Division to help with our large work volumes for the road construction season. We offer a competitive wage (negotiated based on experience) with benefits.
The successful candidate’s primary duties and requirements will include, but are not limited to: Completing pre-trip and preventative maintenance on your assigned vehicle. Continuously monitor all fluid levels, vehicle operation and handling, and report and defects to your supervisor. Operating a tractor-trailer combo to load and transport heavy equipment from jobsite-to-jobsite. Adhere to the Motor Vehicle Transport Act 1987 Commercial Vehicle Driver’s Hours of Service Regulation. Complete accurate digital administrative documentation such as timesheets, safety forms, and log books. Competent at loading and unloading mobile heavy equipment, proper load securement. Experience working with small hand tools is an asset. Able to work long hours Monday – Saturday including Overtime.
Requirements: Possess a valid clean class 1 drivers license and reliable transportation to work.
