Machine Operative
We are recruiting for a CNC Machine Operative to join a specialised manufacturer in Ross on Wye. The successful candidate will come from a hands-on background, willing to learn new skills, and ideally possess existing experience within a technical role, manufacturing, or machine operating role.
What you can expect:
* £14.30 per hour including shift allowance
* Monday to Friday, 6am to 2pm & 2pm to 10pm, rotating weekly
* 23 days annual leave plus bank holidays
* A brand-new manufacturing facility

What you will be doing:
* Operating and management of CNC production machinery
* Following company SOP’s and health & safety requirements
* Work and communicate with other members of the team to ensure efficient handover
* Communicating with Shift coordinators and Leaders to ensure they are aware of any issues in your designated area
* Ensure production data is recorded properly
* Housekeeping of work areas
* Ensure any production waste is discarded in the correct manner
What we are looking for:
* Prior machine operating experience would be advantageous candidates with CNC experience are encouraged to apply
* A hands-on background
* Highly motivated and willing to learn new skills
* IT literate, CNC programming
