My client in the Nelosn area of Lancashire are looking for an experienced CNC Turner.

Candidates will be required to control Machinist Sliding Head/Fixed Head Operator/Setter Operator.

Role Responsibilities

As a CNC Machinist Sliding Head/Fixed Head Operator/Setter Operator, your day-to-day tasks will include:

– Operating and setting up CNC machines with precision and efficiency.
– Performing machining and milling tasks to exact specifications.
– Conducting quality control checks to ensure high standards are met.
– Interpreting technical drawings and specifications accurately.
– Managing tooling and fixture set-ups to optimise production.

Qualifications and Skills

– Proficiency in setting/ operating CNC lathes – Fixed or sliding head
– Strong machining and Turning abilities.
– Expertise in quality control processes.
– Extensive experience in CNC machining operations.
– The ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
– Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
– Knowledge of tooling and fixture set-ups.
– Previous experience in a precision manufacturing environment.
