The role of the Commercial Manager Glazing Systems will involve:
* Quantity Surveyor / Commercial Manager position dealing with a range of secondary glazing systems
* Build, manage and maintain relationships with clients, contractors, sub-contractors, engineers, suppliers and other construction professionals
* Coordinating estimating, sales and installation for each project
* Providing handovers to installation team and monitoring commercial elements until complete
* Qualifying and approving suppliers and sub-contractors to maintain high-quality standards
* Manage job costing throughout each project from design to completion and producing regular financial reports
* Working on projects varying in value from £10k to £5m
The ideal applicant will be Commercial Manager Glazing Systems with:
* Must be a Quantity Surveyor or Commercial Manager within the construction industry
* Ideally will have experience with glazing systems or a technical related product background such as: secondary glazing, windows, window hardware, architectural glazing, glazing, windows & doors
* Must be an outgoing character who will be an integral part of the team
* Ideally will have minimum HNC/HND or equivalent in a construction related field
* IT literate (Microsoft Office)
* Commercial awareness, excellent numeracy and literacy skills
* Effective time management and organisational skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
