Job Title: Construction Designer
Reporting to: Project Director
A well-established furniture manufacturer specializing in custom-made furniture and architectural joinery is seeking a skilled and motivated Construction Designer. Responsibilities:

Assess site measurements at the concept stage.

Develop designs that align with client expectations, ensuring both performance and budget requirements are met.

Identify variations from initial project briefs and communicate necessary adjustments.
*
Prepare detailed handover documentation for follow-on departments.
*
Maintain clear and professional communication with both clients and colleagues.
Requirements:
*
Strong understanding of furniture and internal joinery construction techniques.
*
Proficiency in AutoCAD, Microsoft Word, and Excel.
*
Experience with a 3D design package is an advantage.
*
High standard of written and spoken English.
*
Flexibility and adaptability to meet project demands.
Position Details:
*
Full-time role, Monday – Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM (overtime as required).
*
Competitive salary based on experience.
*
28 days annual leave (including 8 statutory holidays).
*
Office-based role near Rugby.
