Job Description:
Delivery Van Driver required for our client based in East London.
7-8am starts Monday to Friday, minumum of 9 hours a day.
However you can end up working around 10 – 12 hours a day.
This will initially be for 5 – 6 weeks, however there are fulltime positions available for the correct person.
Monday – Friday = £15.27ph Umbrella sub contractor rate (Equivalent to £12.40 per hour PAYE)
Saturday or Sunday = £20ph umbrella sub contractor rate
You will be responsible for: –
* Loading, transporting, and delivering items to clients or businesses in a safe, timely manner.
* Reviewing orders before and after delivery to ensure that orders are complete, and the customer is satisfied.
* Assisting with loading and unloading items from vehicles in a safe manner.
* Providing excellent customer service, answering questions, and handling complaints from clients.
* Adhering to assigned routes and following time schedules.
* Abiding by all transportation laws and maintaining a safe driving record.
* Preparing reports and other documents relating to deliveries as requested by management.
* It is essential you have delivery driver experience and a full clean license ( the client will consider those with up to 6 points depending on insurance cover) .
* on average 50/60 hours a week
