Dermatology Consultant – Western Health

The rapidly growing Dermatology team at Western Health seeks enthusiastic Dermatologists to support clinics at both Sunshine & Footscray campus.

The Dermatology unit at Western Health is a fast-growing team providing care to the Western suburb’s catchment. The close-knit team prides themselves on delivering high-quality care and making public Dermatology services accessible to the community. The team provides support to both adults and pediatrics across Western Health through clinics and a consult service. The Dermatology Unit also provides Biologic therapies with the support of our Dermatology Nurse Consultant.

The permanent sessions available are:

• 7 hours total (x1 3.5 hours session a week) at Sunshine every Tuesday
• 5 hours (x1 3.5 hours session a fortnight) at Footscray every 2nd Friday

The team also has some opportunities within our Melton Clinic.

To be Successful in this Role you:

• Have a passion for the provision of Best Care within Dermatology in the Western Suburbs and Public Health
• Have a Medical qualification and Fellowship of the Australasian College of Dermatology
• Hold a current medical registration in Australia and Credentials for the position
• Have relevant clinical experience and clinical competence required to work independently
• Have well-developed written and verbal communication skills
