Your responsibilities will include:
Overseeing the accounting and reporting for the developed area of the business.
Liaising with third-party accountants for areas of accounting and reporting that are outsourced, and reviewing deliverables.
Completing monthly and year-end closing activities.
Supporting the external audit.
Completing balance sheet reconciliations and ensuring strong levels of financial control.
Preparing the subsidiary statutory accounts using OneSource statutory account preparation software.
Responding to financial inquiries by gathering and interpreting data, particularly in relation to bids.
Supporting the development division, by providing financial information and analysis, and responding to queries.
Supporting financial transactions and projects.
Supporting ad hoc requests for information from senior management.
Supporting other areas of group finance, as required.
Providing line management of one direct report.
About you
You have ACA or ACCCA qualification or minimum A Level standard qualification.
You are digitally savvy, especially in MS Office and Oracle. You can build lasting client relationships and provide support to strong, motivated teams. You have experience working in a similar environment or role in accounting and be hungry to grow your career and enjoy the opportunities Mace has to offer.
