The Role: We’re looking for skilled Drone Pilots across Australia to conduct aerial surveys of solar installations. You’ll be responsible for capturing high-quality thermal and RGB imagery using pre-programmed flight paths and manually piloted missions. Your work will contribute to AI-powered insights that drive operational efficiency for solar farms and residential installations.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct pre-programmed and manual drone flights to survey solar farms and rooftop solar systems.
• Capture high-resolution thermal and RGB imagery in line with company standards.
• Upload and organize collected data for analysis and processing.
• Ensure compliance with CASA regulations and maintain safety standards.
• Perform basic maintenance and troubleshooting of drone equipment.
• Travel as needed to project locations across Australia.

Requirements:

• CASA Remote Pilot Licence (RePL) with experience in commercial drone operations.
• Ability to fly drones manually when required and troubleshoot basic technical issues.
• Experience with thermal and RGB drone imaging (preferred but not required).
• Access to a CASA-registered drone with thermal and RGB capabilities (preferred but not required).
• Reliable transportation and flexibility for travel to project sites.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow precise flight plans.
• Tech-savvy with the ability to upload and organize image data.
