Our client is looking for an Early Year Art Teacher!
The Role:
We are seeking a passionate and creative Early Years Art Teacher to join our dynamic team. You will play a key role in introducing young children (aged 2–5 years) to the wonderful world of art, helping them develop their imagination, fine motor skills, and self-expression.
Responsibilities:
* Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate art activities and projects.
* Foster a love for creativity through hands-on exploration with various materials and techniques (e.g., painting, drawing, sculpture, and more).
* Create a safe and welcoming learning environment that encourages children to express themselves.
* Collaborate with the early years team to integrate art into the wider curriculum.
* Celebrate and showcase children’s artwork within the setting and with families.
* Maintain and organize art supplies and ensure materials are safe for young children.
* Observe and document children’s progress and creative development.
* Create social media posts
Requirements:
* A passion for working with young children and inspiring creativity.
* Relevant Level 3 qualifications in Early Childhood Education
* Drivers Licence
* Experience working in an early years or teaching environment.
* Strong communication and teamwork skills.
* Knowledge of safeguarding practices and child development.
The ideal candidate must have their own drivers licence as you will be required to work between our 2 nurseries.
