European Supply Chain Lead

European Supply Chain Lead working for an industry-leading global hospitality organisation. Based in Hamburg with a flexible approach to working. Salary ranges between $70,000 – $80,000 + various benefits.

This globally renowned hospitality organisation is undergoing transformation of its global greenfield procurement function to create a best-in-class centralised procurement approach and is therefore growing its team. Within this position you’ll be a key stakeholder at the forefront of decision making with the ability to imprint your procurement approach, providing excellent daily development.

You’ll be responsible for implementing and leveraging the global standardised procurement strategy and supplier relations wherever possible in addition to autonomously leading regional local procurement strategy where needed. Every day will be different from the next where you’ll gain exposure to a range of procurement categories, but with a key focus on FM procurement covering soft and hard services. You will have the ability to drive continuous improvement, change management and transformation activities into the future.

European Supply Chain Lead responsibilities…

Effectively implement and leverage end-to-end procurement processes in your region in relation to the global supplier base, contracts and category management strategy
Autonomously implement local regional procurement strategy where global strategy isn’t applicable in relation to a variety of procurement categories, such as IT, Professional Services and Food & Beverage, with a key focus on FM procurement
Continuous cross-functional collaboration with a variety of key stakeholders to aid the implementation of best-in-class procurement delivery
Undertake effective continuous improvement, change management and transformation activities to ensure best practice procurement processes are maintained European Supply Chain Lead requirements…

Ability to demonstrate success across the end-to-end procurement function, ideally with strong exposure to Facilities Management procurement
Strong technical procurement skills surrounding contract management, negotiation, tender management and category management
