Finance Manager

This is a new Group position – package and benefits are negotiable.

We are looking for an experienced Finance Manager to join our dynamic team and play a key role in managing the financial performance of the business. This position is ideal for someone who is ACCA qualified or part qualified, with a strong understanding of tax, VAT, PAYE, NIC, and month-end financial cycles.

Key Responsibilities:

* Oversee and manage the financial month-end close process, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.

* Review business performance, analysing variances against budgets and forecasts.

* Manage and ensure compliance with tax, VAT, PAYE, and NIC obligations.

* Monitor and analyse overheads, ensuring they are in line with budgets and forecast expectations.

* Collaborate with key stakeholders to provide financial insights and recommendations to drive business decisions.

* Support the preparation of financial statements, reports, and other key financial documents.

Key Requirements:

* ACCA qualified or part-qualified with relevant practical experience in finance.

* Strong understanding of tax, VAT, PAYE, and NIC.

* Experience managing financial month-end cycles and reviewing business performance against budgets.

* Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

* Strong attention to detail with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues.

* Ability to work effectively within a team and collaborate with various departments.
