Job Description:
As a Financial Controller at Home Build Supplies, you will play a crucial role in managing various financial and administrative tasks within our dynamic Builders Merchant environment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Efficiently manage a wide range of financial and administrative functions.
* Assist in the smooth operation of the office.
* Demonstrate proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel, and experience with Sage Line 50 is essential.
* Proactively chase overdue debts, utilizing investigative and problem-solving skills to prevent legal action.
* Familiarity with merchant-based software systems is required.
* Exhibit a high level of motivation, sales capability, and the ability to work towards set targets.
* Demonstrate effective people management skills.
* Strong numeracy skills.
* Uphold a high level of integrity and trustworthiness.
Qualifications and Preferred Skills:
* Priority consideration will be given to candidates with a background in the construction industry.
* Advanced knowledge of e-commerce and design IT software, especially SQL and Crystal Reports, is a plus.
* Transport, logistics, health and safety, or first aid experience in a non-field context is welcomed.
