Food Service Assistant / Barista

Aramark UK are currently recruiting a Food Service Assistant / Barista to join our team working at Bexhill 6th Form College, Bexhill, TN40 2JG

You will be performing basic food preparation, preparing sandwiches and other grab and go foods. Alongside this, you will also be working front of house, operating the tills and providing excellent customer service to our customers.

What we offer:

This is a part time position, 20 hours per week, Monday – Friday. Shifts range between 10am – 2pm, leaving your evenings and weekends free.
The hourly rate is £11.44

A day in the life of a Food Service Assistant:

Prepare and serve food and beverages to customers
General kitchen duties, including food preparation including making sandwiches and cold food
General front of house duties such as clearing tables, table service, customer service
Till work and taking payments
Restocking items and stock rotation
General cleaning of front and back of house – Sweeping/Mopping and general house keeping to ensure areas are cleaned to a high standard at all times.
We aim for all staff to be multi skilled and flexible with full training and support provided both on the job and via our e learning portal.

You’ll be set up for success if you have:

Must have resided in the UK for the past 5 years and have legal right to work
Must be able to pass full security vetting and DBS checks
Previous food service / barista experience desirable
