Do you have a passion for gardening and maintaining beautiful outdoor spaces? At Aveo, we’re looking for a skilled Maintenance Gardener to join our team.
As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring our gardens, grounds, building and fixtures are well maintained, presentable and safe for all to enjoy.
You will work closely with our Community Manager and residents to deliver exceptional service and exceed expectations.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Perform routine garden maintenance tasks such as weeding, mowing, hedging, pruning, mulching and green waste removal.
- Ensure all community spaces are clean, tidy and safe for our residents and visitors.
- Maintain effective working relationships with maintenance contractors and suppliers.
- Carry out preventative maintenance tasks around the community as per schedules.
- Complete additional adhoc tasks delegated to you by Community Leaders.
**Ideal Candidate:**
- Has a warm and caring personality with a genuine interest in making a difference every day.
- Has experience in gardening duties, preferably in a similar role.
- Possesses a current Police Check certificate or is willing to obtain one.
- Hold a valid driver’s licence and has access to a reliable vehicle.
- Is up-to-date with current COVID-19 vaccinations.
