Job Title: Graduate Project Manager
Location: Manchester
Salary: £25,000 – £30,000
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Graduate Project Manager to join a dynamic Project Management team based in Manchester. This role is ideal for a motivated and ambitious individual with up to 1-2 years of experience, looking to develop their career in a client-facing environment.
The successful candidate will receive mentorship from experienced colleagues, work alongside graduates and trainees, and take part in a structured APC training programme. Some UK travel may be required.
Key Responsibilities for the Graduate Project Manager:
Supporting the delivery of projects from inception to completion
Engaging with clients and assisting in maintaining strong client relationships
Contributing to project management strategies and delivery plans
Assisting in establishing project processes and systems
Supporting the production of cost plans, feasibility studies, and option appraisals
Assisting with change management tracking and reporting
Supporting risk management and value management processes
Liaising with clients, contractors, and consultants
Attending and contributing to meetings
Skills, Knowledge, and Expertise for the Graduate Project Manager:
Up to 1-2 years’ experience
Strong people skills with excellent verbal & written skills too.
Commercial awareness
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
Familiarity with JCT and NEC contracts (desirable)
Proficiency in Microsoft Office
