Marketplace

Marketplace is fundamentally responsible for leading, managing and inspiring the investment team to deliver Purple standard implementation and trading practices.

We are looking for a Group Investment Director to work with one of our biggest clients, market leaders in the FMCG space. This role is based in Sydney.

Responsibilities

• Engage with our media partners to retain rich knowledge of the media landscape and a deep understanding of core media principles.
• Engage with internal product teams to ensure you have an understanding about their offerings and relevance to our clients.
• Confident in your knowledge of media planning principles and strong ability to utilize agency and industry tools.
• Able to construct and present robust Implementation plans, grounded in strategic priorities.
• Brings innovation and creativity to the table, leveraging insights from across the market.
• Developing future fit, market leading Investment strategies for your clients.
• Ensure client Investment deliverables are met consistently, across all touchpoints.
• Responsible for ensuring all financial and compliance processes are followed with 100% accuracy.
• Responsible for the overall delivery of client trading KPI’s.
• Seek to find, communicate and implement improvements in all aspects of the role.
• Deliver a well-informed POV in every meeting, providing innovative strategic insights.
• Establish an understanding of client challenges, objectives & initiatives.
• Help build on the agency’s reputation for outstanding client service.
• Build strong and enduring client relationships at a senior level.
• Help to provide innovative strategic insights by acting as an expert on the client’s business, industry and competitors.
• Seek out reformist ways to keep clients informed on relevant developments.
• Clear understanding of the in-scope services of your clients.
• Review your team’s training needs to ensure alignment with their career plans.
• Responsible for overseeing workflow between all members of the team.

Experience

You will have considerable career experience across major agency and channel related topics, including leveraging deep experience of application to deliver advanced client and brand outcomes. This will be underpinned by 8 – 12 Years experience in Media Agencies or broader Media Industry.
