BCS Connect is currently seeking an experienced GRP Laminator for one of our clients in Aldridge, Walsall. This is a fantastic temp-to-perm opportunity offering a stable career path with a well-established company.
Key Responsibilities:
✔️ Preparing moulds and applying release agents
✔️ Hand-laying fibreglass and resin to manufacture GRP components
✔️ Trimming, sanding, and finishing GRP products to high standards
✔️ Mixing and applying resins, catalysts, and gel coats
✔️ Identifying and resolving any defects in the lamination process
✔️ Working from technical drawings and specifications
✔️ Ensuring all work meets quality and safety standards
Requirements:
✅ Previous experience as a GRP Laminator
✅ Knowledge of hand lay-up techniques and fibreglass materials
✅ Ability to work independently and as part of a team
✅ Good attention to detail and a proactive work ethic
✅ Understanding of health and safety regulations in a manufacturing environment
