A$220,000.00/yr – A$260,000.00/yr
Are you an experienced asset operations professional looking to make a significant impact in the renewable energy sector? Our client, a leading player in the Australian renewable energy market, is seeking a Head of Asset Operations to join their team in Sydney.
The Role
As Head of Asset Operations, you will lead the strategic management and optimisation of our client’s renewable energy assets, including solar farms and battery energy storage systems. This key leadership position reports directly to the CEO and is crucial in driving operational excellence across the portfolio.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee asset performance management, ensuring optimal energy generation and revenue targets are met
- Lead operations and maintenance strategies, including risk management and compliance
- Manage third-party contracts and stakeholder relationships
- Provide strategic leadership in budgeting, financial management, and team development
- Drive continuous improvement and innovation in asset operations
The Ideal Candidate
- Proven experience (4+ years) in asset management and operations, preferably in the renewable energy sector
- Degree in Engineering or related field, with business acumen
- Strong leadership skills and experience managing cross-functional teams
- Expertise in risk management, compliance, and financial management
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
- Experience working in an international organisation
