Salary: £36,361.00
Full time / 35 hours per week / Permanent

An exciting opportunity has arisen in the Governance team for a Health & Safety Co-ordinator and for the right person we offer a 35-hour week, competitive salary, excellent contributory pension scheme, and 25 days holiday increasing to 30 days.

We are looking to recruit to the post which will include acting as operational lead for the organisation’s compliance with its statutory health and safety responsibilities, working with our H & S consultant to ensure the highest standards of Health and Safety are maintained and to identify and prepare risk assessments to address relevant Health and Safety issues. You will also have responsibility for health and safety monitoring and training across the organisation.

The successful candidate will ideally have a good working knowledge across all areas of Health and Safety within social housing or a similar field and act as the competent person as required by the Management of Health & Safety at Work Regulations 1999.

SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, AND EXPERIENCE

Be self-motivated, organised, and able to work independently as well as part of a team, with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
You will have the ability to deal with a range of people and build relationships at all levels; internal, external, professional, and public.
You will have experience or knowledge of Health and Safety within the Housing Sector or a related sector.
NEBOSH certificate or Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or other relevant certifications.Closing Date: 29 March 2024
