An exciting opportunity for a permanent HR Advisor, a start-up role. My client is seeking a proactive and passionate HR Advisor to join their HR team in their venture, a rapidly growing, fast-paced organisation. This is an HR Advisor role where you will play a crucial part in supporting the HR department’s daily operations and ensuring the smooth running of HR processes. You will provide expert advice and support to managers and employees on a range of HR-related issues.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide day-to-day HR advisory services to managers and employees on HR policies, procedures, and best practices.
Assist in the recruitment and selection process, including drafting job descriptions, screening CVs, arranging and carrying out interviews.
Support onboarding and orientation processes for new hires to ensure a smooth integration into the company.
Handle employee relations issues, including conflict resolution, absence management, grievances, and disciplinary actions, in line with company policies and legal requirements.
Assist in the development and implementation of HR engagement and well-being initiatives.
Support with the implementation of a new HR system.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records and HR documentation.
Oversee compliance with employment laws and regulations, ensuring the company’s HR policies are up-to-date and legally compliant.
Conduct training sessions and workshops on various HR topics to enhance employee knowledge and skills.
Collaborate with the HR team to drive continuous improvement initiatives and contribute to strategic HR projects.
This role is based on site 5 days per week in Wellingborough.
Experience required:
You must have experience as an HR Advisor, ideally within a fast-paced blue-collar environment.
You will ideally be qualified to level 5 of the CIPD or above or equivalent.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build effective working relationships.
Proven problem-solving skills and the ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
