Job Description:
HR Business Partner | 12 Month FTC | Hybrid working | Burton | up to £55,000

We are currently seeking an experienced Senior HR Advisor/HR Business Partner to join a global leader in their sector.  This is initially a 12-month fixed-term contract. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a key commercial contribution to the growth and improved profitability of the business by partnering with dedicated business areas.

As the Senior HR Advisor/HR Business Partner, you will be responsible for developing and implementing effective strategies and interventions to meet the evolving business areas objectives for the future. You will ensure the business is legally compliant and accountable for delivering operational KPI’s (including retention, attrition and absence), adding value to the bottom line and contributing to the success of the business through its people.

The ideal candidate will have a generalist background and experience in dealing with all things BAU. You will have extensive knowledge of employee relations, organisational change, succession planning, and building stakeholder relationships and stakeholder management. 

What you will be doing:

Meeting key stakeholders to discuss people challenges and provide solutions.
Working closely with internal stakeholders to develop a people agenda that aligns to, and supports, the overall strategic objectives of the organisation.
Anticipating, helping to design, and then shaping organisational change, bringing people expertise and developing solutions to help the business area to deliver its strategy.
Understanding the business as well as the senior leadership team to enable best use of generalist HR knowledge, especially how change happens, how to engage people and how an intervention will work.
Providing guidance on people practices such as restructures, OD and succession planning.
Influencing and building deep relationships with key stakeholders and people around the business.
Acting as a local point of people expertise for specialist teams that are implementing new people approaches.
Questioning and challenging authority and others, where relevant to get to the root of people and business issues.
Coaching and providing feedback to key stakeholders to help improve business efficiency and add value.
Evidence-based data usage driving improvement plans and strategies.
Being a key source of knowledge to lead and contribute to business projects.
Ensuring effective employee relations through professional compliance with policies and procedures.
Leadership and development of HR Advisors.
