Oakleaf Partnership are representing a distinguished accountancy and business advisory firm to recruit for an HR Manager to join their collegiate team. The HR team is pivotal in attracting top talent, fostering employee success, and nurturing a unified culture of growth and development.

The HR Manager will work closely with senior managers, directors, and partners, providing business-focused and best practice HR support.

About the role

– Provide expert HR support to a designated business area, acting as a key contact for People Managers and Partners.
– Collaborate with the Senior HR Manager to deliver HR calendar activities and strategic priorities.
– Establish and maintain influential relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, PMs, and the broader HR team.
– Identify and implement improvements in HR processes and calendar activities.
– Advise on and coordinate employee transfers, contractual changes, and performance issues.
– Facilitate group discussions, such as upward feedback sessions and listening survey focus groups.
– Conduct exit interviews and produce qualitative reports to identify trends and inform action plans.
– Support recruitment needs, including drafting job descriptions and ensuring a smooth candidate experience.
– Work closely with the HRIS team to provide valuable MI analysis and identify actionable trends.

Candidate Profile:

– A degree and/or CIPD qualification (or working towards it).
– Proven experience in employee relations and a pragmatic approach to HR issues.
– Strong knowledge of employment legislation and best practices.
– Experience as a credible HR business partner, influencing up to Partner level.
– Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and sustain strong relationships.
– Creative thinking and an innovative approach to projects and tasks.
– Strong IT skills, including proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and HR systems.
– Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
– A commitment to personal and professional development.
