About the Role:

As the Internal Communications Director at Demandbase, you will play a key role in developing and executing our internal communication strategy. Your efforts will ensure that employees are well-informed, engaged, and aligned with the company�s vision, values, and goals. You will create and manage communication plans, content, and channels to foster a transparent, inclusive, and connected workplace.

The base compensation for this position, not including the company bonus, is: $140,000 – $175,000

What You’ll Be Doing:

Develop and implement a comprehensive internal communications strategy that aligns with company objectives and supports a positive organizational culture
Work with cross-functional teams and executive leadership to define the internal communication strategy while providing ongoing counsel for effective and impactful communications
Create engaging and informative content for various internal communication channels, including emails, newsletters, intranet, Slack, and presentations
Help support senior leaders in delivering effective communications that resonate with employees and drive engagement
Design and execute initiatives to boost employee engagement, such as town halls, Q&A sessions, and feedback forums
Partner with people team partners to develop people program related communications
Lead communication efforts for change management initiatives, ensuring clear and consistent messaging during times of transition
Monitor and assess the effectiveness of internal communication efforts through surveys, metrics, and feedback, and make data-driven improvements
Partner with the people team, marketing, and other departments to ensure consistent messaging and alignment across the organization
Provide counsel as a trusted advisor to the global leadership team, help assess reputational risk matters, and handle sensitive and crisis communication pertaining to internal issues as needed
Build and work cross-functionally to execute an integrated executive internal communications strategy

What We’re Looking For:

10-12 years of experience in internal communications or corporate communications at a modern technology company
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft clear, concise, and engaging messages
Ability to develop and execute strategic communication plans that drive employee engagement and support organizational goals
Strong leadership and influencing skills, with the ability to work effectively with senior executives and cross-functional teams
A creative mindset with the ability to develop innovative communication solutions and approaches
Proficiency in using metrics and data to assess communication effectiveness and inform continuous improvement
