Remuneration: £24,000 – £26,000 + discretionary bonus

The role of the Internal Sales Executive – Plant & Equipment will involve:

* Internal Sales position selling the hire & sale of non-mechanical plant & equipment such as: temporary access, ground protection, specialist construction products, trench covers, ground reinforcement & stabilization, site security & traffic management

* You will be selling to civil engineering companies, main contractors, sub-contractors, events managers, end-users and distributors

* Dealing with a large number of incoming enquiries via telephone & emails

* Raising quotes for customers and following up in prompt manner

* Liaise internally to check equipment stock levels to ensure customer availability

* Co-ordinate drivers to ensure equipment is delivered and collected from customers efficiently

The ideal applicant will be Internal Sales Executive – Plant & Equipment with:

* Must have telephone experience and be comfortable talking with customers

* Ideally will have some sales experience but would also consider roles such as: sales support, customer service

* Ideally will have plant/equipment hire or wider construction experience

* Exceptional written & verbal communication skills

* Highly self-motivated, enthusiastic and determined

* A keen attention to detail

* Driving licence

* IT Literate (Office, CRM systems)
