Role Summary:

Title: Service Desk Engineer
Department: Operations
Location: Hybrid in London
Salary: Up to £30,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
Hours: 37.5 hours per week

Role Description:

As a Service Desk Engineer, you’ll provide remote and on-site desktop, server, and network support to a diverse external customer base. You’ll be the first point of contact, ensuring exceptional customer service and effective issue resolution. Experience in the Managed Services industry is essential for this role, which offers significant growth potential and opportunities to advance your career in a dynamic and expanding company.

Key Responsibilities:
– Serve as the initial contact for all IT needs
– Monitor and log issues via ConnectWise Manage, ensuring accurate categorization and prioritization
– Manage calls from start to finish, providing timely updates to customers
– Distribute and escalate tickets as necessary, ensuring compliance with SLAs
– Maintain accurate daily logs in ConnectWise for reporting purposes

Technical Skills & Experience:
– Experience in the Managed Services industry is essential
– Support for Microsoft Cloud Services (Microsoft 365, Azure)
– Server Administration (Windows Server, Active Directory)
– Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (RDSH, WVD, Citrix)
– Support for Windows 10 and MacOS

Desirable Qualifications:
– Microsoft Azure Fundamentals (AZ-900)

– Microsoft 365 Fundamentals (MS-900)

– Microsoft Azure Administrator Associate (AZ-104)

– Microsoft 365 Identity and Services (MS-100)

– Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA)
