Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Laminator to join our team in the print industry. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical aptitude and experience with various hand and power tools. As a Laminator, you will be responsible for operating laminating machines, ensuring high-quality finishes on printed materials, and maintaining equipment to meet production standards. This role requires attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently in a warehouse environment.

Responsibilities

Operate laminating machines to apply protective coatings to printed materials.
Assemble and prepare materials for the laminating process, ensuring proper alignment and adherence.
Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on laminating equipment to ensure optimal performance.
Use hand tools and power tools for fabrication and assembly tasks as needed.
Conduct quality checks on finished products to ensure they meet company standards.
Maintain a clean and organised workspace, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines and improve processes.Experience

Proven mechanical knowledge with experience in operating machinery within a warehouse or manufacturing setting.
Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, welding techniques, and basic maths for measurements and calculations.
Previous experience in fabrication or painting is advantageous but not essential.
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.

Employment Type – Full time, 06:00 – 14:00, 14:00 – 22:00 and 22:00 – 06:00 rotating on a weekly basis.

Job Type: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £15.00 p/h. up to £30.00 p/h overtime. paid breaks

Expected hours: 40 hours per week
