Large Format Digital Print Operative

Our Loughborough based clients are looking for a large format digital print operative to join their small print team on a permanent full time basis. The successful candidate will provide hands on print production support, working closely with the print operations manager.
The person will come from a print environment specialising in large format digital print and ideally experience with the HP Latex R2000.
A quick learner, good attention to detail and a positive attitude are essential for the role, as well as someone that can step up and take responsibility when needed.
RESPONSIBILITIES
* Supporting the operations manager with day to day print services and production
* Set up and operation of various large format printers
* Regularly checking printing matches artwork proofs, that they are printed on time and in line with company quality standards
* Ensuring print environment is clean and tidy. Reporting any concerns with hardware, print or machinery to the manager
* Trimming prints to required dimensions, and Graphic Finishing
* Working sometimes to tight deadlines and quick turnaround of jobs
* Communicating with the operations manager and the rest of the team to ensure overall productivity and results for the business as a whole
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
* Experience of digital large format print is essential
* Previously used HP Latex R2000 or equivalent advantage
* CNC experience advantage
* A high level of accuracy and attention to detail
* Effective Time Management and able to work to deadlines
* Good IT Skills, able to work and learn different programs and print systems
* Dependable, Reliable and Self Motivated
* Team Player, works well with internal team
