Lead Hardware & Firmware Engineer
ð Hybrid – 2 days/week in Birmingham
ð° £70,000 – £75,000
We’re looking for an experienced Hardware & Firmware Engineer to lead development, design embedded systems, and drive technical innovation.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and optimise embedded systems from concept to production.
Lead a small team and oversee PCB design, testing, and compliance.
Implement hardware verification and product lifecycle improvements.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance performance.Essentials:
Experience with MCU-based digital electronics & PCB design.
Strong embedded C skills & familiarity with SPI, I2C, UART, USB.
Leadership experience managing projects or teams.
Degree in Electronic Engineering or equivalent.
Desirable:
ð¹ Bluetooth/Wi-Fi device experience
ð¹ EMC testing & certification knowledge (CE, FCC)
ð¹ Background in start-ups or fast-paced environments
