We are actively looking to engage customer service & logistics professional for a retail based warehouse in Leicester! We are seeking an Logistics Customer Order Agent to join the expanding team!

Our client are a leader in the design, manufacture and distribution of high-end retail goods based in Leicester. This family-run business has been operational for 89 years and is rapidly expanding their e-commerce and store offerings to the market. Due to the incumbent leaving the business for maternity, we are actively seeking a candidate to fulfil a minimum of a 12 month obligation. The business turnovers in excess of 131 million, expanding up 9% YoY!

Description

The Logistics Customer Order Agent will report into the Logistics & Customer Service Manager on a daily basis and be responsible for the following areas of the Leicester site:

Day to day responsibilities will include, but not limited to; daily checks on transport orders, shipment management, POD retrieval, and updating system.
Customer contact to resolve stock issues and order management concerns.
Handling customer enquiries via telephone and email, dealing with both inbound and outbound communication.
Daily checks on transport orders to ensure they have been collected and delivered in line with Customer requirements.
Booking in collections and deliveries.
Liaise with drivers & customer service teams regarding ETAs and problem solving.
Administration duties include extensive data inputting, filing, keeping staff records up to date.Profile

The successful Logistics Customer Order Agent will be based in Leicester and embody the following experience / skills:

2+ years’ experience in a logistics & customer service environment.
Experience managing customer queries on the telephone and via email
