We are recruiting for an experienced Logistics manager for a large civil engineering and rail project in West London.
This is a long term role, which can only be paid on a PAYE basis only. Working hours are 07:00 to 17:00 with weekend paid as belowl;-
Saturday 1.5 for the first 4 hours and the remaining 6 paid at double time
Sunday Double Time.
Logistics Manager Responsibilities:
• Planning and managing site logistics to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
• Coordinating deliveries and ensuring materials are distributed efficiently.
• Managing on-site staff, including traffic marshals and labourers.
• Implementing and maintaining health and safety procedures.
• Liaising with contractors, suppliers, and project teams.
Logistics Manager Requirements:
• Proven experience as a Logistics Manager on construction sites. and also ideally have rail knowledge but isnt essential.
• Valid SMSTS or SSSTS certification.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations.
