Position Details:

* Title: Manufacturing Technician

* Responsible To: Heads of Engineering

* Location: Hayes, Greater London

As a Manufacturing Technician, you’ll play a pivotal role in collaborating with their Applied Science and Tubes Engineering teams in Hayes, Greater London. You will:

* Develop and test advanced assembly techniques.

* Assemble high-precision parts and products.

* Participate in the design process for innovative technologies.

* Facilitate the seamless transfer of new techniques to production teams in Hayes, Greater London.

* Ensure compliance with Health and Safety policies.

What You’ll need for the Manufacturing Technician job:

* Expertise in assembly techniques like welding and laser welding.

* Working with precision at small scales.

* Understanding of vacuum systems.

* Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.

* Knowledge of materials and processes for vacuum technology products.

Qualifications:

* ONC level relevant qualification or equivalent experience (HNC desirable).
