About Capital Camp:
Capital Camp builds high-quality, intentional and non-traditional events tailored to the finance, investing, and business industries. We are a small, resourceful, and energized team, dedicated to creating memorable and impactful experiences. Our entrepreneurial nature drives us to question, then push boundaries in the pursuit of excellence.
And, we’re growing.
We plan the best investing and business events by combining unique shared experiences with hospitality and kindness.
But, not enough people know who we are and how our events can help them.
This is where you come in.
As our Marketing and Communications Manager, you’ll be the driving force behind amplifying our brands, making them known to those who will benefit most. You have the opportunity to shape how the world sees us. We’ll be leaning on you to elevate our message through compelling marketing strategies and engaging storytelling.
Entrepreneurial spirit, with a passion for pushing boundaries in pursuit of excellence.
Innate curiosity and enthusiasm for creating exceptional experiences.
A keen eye for aligning branding and marketing efforts with the company’s core identity and values.
You’ll be responsible for:
Defining and continuously refining branding and messaging strategies to effectively reach target audiences.
Crafting compelling copy for marketing materials and across digital platforms.
Driving overall revenue growth.
Leading data-led acquisition strategies to grow our event reach, including uncovering creative, non-traditional, and new methods of acquiring users.
Managing and aligning external vendor relationships, including graphic design, photography, videography, website design, and digital marketing.
Collaborating with team members to ensure cohesive brand messaging.
Engaging and growing our audience effectively to attract attendees to each event.
Owning each brand’s social media channels, focusing mainly on Twitter, Facebook, and LinkedIn.
Getting hands-on with our platforms, including Hubspot and Google Analytics; this is not a hands-off management role.
What we’re looking for:
Proven experience in marketing strategy, brand, and communications.
Strong background in copywriting and content creation–You know how to take great content and put it to work.
Experience managing website and graphic design projects.
Proficient in social media marketing and email marketing campaigns.
Familiarity with CRM tools, preferably Hubspot.
The Right Fit:
You love finding creative ways to communicate with customers in a conversational tone.
A master project manager who’s organized, systematic, and hyper-analytical.
You’re a go-getter and you’re not afraid to say what you think but you do it in the right way.
You’re someone who can synthesize our learnings into a clear, effective plan, executing it with a composure and clarity that instills confidence in those around you.
