Job Title: M&E Project Manager

Location: Wimbledon (Initial office-based period)

Salary: £75,000 per annum

Overview: We are currently recruiting for an experienced M&E Project Manager on behalf of our client, a leading company in the residential construction industry. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in the delivery of high-quality residential projects. This position is based in Wimbledon, with an initial 4-6 week pre-construction office-based period to ensure effective project planning and coordination.

Key Responsibilities:

* Manage the M&E delivery of a large-scale residential project, ensuring all systems are integrated effectively, installed on time, and within budget.

* Oversee the pre-construction phase, working closely with the project team to ensure all M&E systems align with design specifications and regulatory standards.

* Collaborate with designers, contractors, and subcontractors to coordinate M&E systems integration throughout the project lifecycle.

* Track and manage project timelines, ensuring milestones are met and making necessary adjustments to keep the project on track.

* Conduct site visits and inspections to monitor the quality and progress of M&E works, ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards.

* Prepare and manage project documentation, including reports, change orders, and other relevant paperwork.

* Provide guidance and support to junior team members and contractors, ensuring smooth project execution.

* Liaise with clients, stakeholders, and external suppliers to ensure the project meets their expectations and requirements.

Key Requirements:

* A minimum of 5 years experience with an interest in candidates who have worked at Tier 1 companies in managerial roles just under the main Project Manager position.

* Strong knowledge of M&E systems in residential construction projects, with a solid understanding of design, installation, and commissioning.

* Proven track record of managing complex residential projects, with the ability to coordinate multiple teams and stakeholders effectively.

* Solid understanding of project processes, procedures, and regulatory requirements in the residential sector.

* Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and manage teams.

* Exceptional problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to managing project challenges.

* Excellent organizational skills, with a keen attention to detail and the ability to meet deadlines.
